The Struggle to Survive

In this photo I observed some fishermen hauling in a net from sea while the Laughing Gulls swarmed the net trying to steal fish trapped in the net. This photo shows a Laughing Gull with one of its feet missing, however this missing limb did not hinder the birds ability to survive and hunt.

This photo also shows the relationship between fishermen and seabirds, both fighting to survive on the same dwindling resource.
